Giving in proportion to one’s income is the key to a successful appeal.  Certainly it is the fairest, most equitable way for all faithful Catholics to participate in the most vital fund raising event of the year for the Church in southern and western Colorado. Since its inception a formula for success was presented to the people of our diocese as a suggested guideline for giving. That same formula – one percent (1%) of annual income – is still being used by thousands of contributors to make their proportionate gifts to this once-a-year effort.

However, you choose to give, no matter what the amount, you may rest assured that your contribution will be put to good use by the Church as evidence of your love of God and neighbor. In making your gift, be mindful of these words: "It is in giving, that we receive."
